Welcome to the new Leadership Springfield website!
We’re excited to have a greatly improved online space that truly reflects the high-quality programs Leadership Springfield offers. I’d like to take you through a quick list of things that alumni, in particular, should know about the site.
One key feature that’s important right now is the online application. Do you know someone who would make an ideal candidate for the Signature or Academy classes next year? Send them a link to the site – it will be hard for them to miss the “Apply Now” buttons on the home page. All of the relevant information about cost and time commitment is there as well. Feel free to do this all year round – if we’re not currently accepting applications, prospective candidates can sign up to receive email updates about the process.
You can keeps tabs on our upcoming events through the calendar. You can also RSVP and, if necessary, pay in advance for events and continuing education workshops.
You will be able to pay your annual dues online after you receive your invoice each July.
One of the most useful features is the membership directory. You can update your information here at any time. Use your email address and your class number with no space (e.g. “class17”) to log in. You can add your LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter information this profile, too. We’ve long talked about the strength of our alumni network. We hope this directory will help multiply that effect, so please take a moment to ensure your information is up to date. If you’re having any issues, contact Kim Everest at 450-6754.
Finally, there’s the blog you’re reading right now. We’ll use it to tell stories about the program and push our brand on social media. We’re looking for people who want to write reflections about their experiences, either as a LS class member or as an alumnus. What does this organization mean to you? What experiences would you like to share about leading or “moving the needle” in our community? We’re looking for voices like yours – email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to talk about the possibilities.
You can also email me with thoughts or suggestions for the site. We welcome your feedback.
