Impact Springfield Opportunity - Developing a Community Recognition Program

Leadership Springfield is excited to partner with our alumni and local businesses to launch our Impact Springfield Program. Many of you heard about this at One Big Class Reunion in June, but the program will provide a mechanism for area organizations to submit proposals to Leadership Springfield Alumni to get leadership support in short term projects aimed at improving our community.  Modeled after a very successful program in Louisville, KY, this program is expected to enhance our mission of connecting leaders to serve the Springfield community. We will be calling on our alumni to give of their time and talents in order to make it a success.

Below is information on the first program:

A locally developed and established non-profit is looking to build awareness of their cause within the business community. They would like to establish a community-wide award program for businesses and individuals to build recognition of an issue that has the potential of impacting anyone in Springfield. They are seeking relational and strategic thinkers to develop the program including the application, selection, and execution of the awards.  The expected time frame for this project 1-2 months.

If this project fits your skill sets and you are interested in learning more about the IMPACT this project could make on our community, please contact Jamie Fields at
