As another year of Leadership Springfield winds down, we thought we would take a moment to thank the outgoing board members who were a huge part of making it all happen. Leadership Springfield has a working board that’s has been busy over the last year. There was a Signature Class expansion, the launch of Impact Springfield to get our alumni engaged, and a record number of applicants for the Signature program. The service of these individuals has been vital to the growth and accomplishments of our program.

Jeff was board president in 2014-15, also serving on many committees and stepping in to help out however needed.
Favorite Leadership Springfield Experience: First retreat – learning about my color and then working for the rest of the weekend in a different quadrant of the brain than my norm. I’m a yellow, so I left with a headache!
Jamie Dopp, Manager - Community Relations, City Utilities
Jamie chaired the Principals of Leadership committee with passion and enthusiasm, ensuring that our principals had an incredible experience. She helped out in any way she was needed for retreats, program days, or events.
Favorite Leadership Springfield Experience: Leadership Springfield has opened many doors for me and allowed me to develop my skills as a contributor to not only the company I work for, but for my community as well. Since being a member of Class 20, I have taken part in Leadership Springfield’s “Springfield On-Board Campaign” by serving on the committee. I was also a part of the Leadership Springfield’s re-brand. Our team helped determine the current logo and marketing materials.
Jim Meadows, Shareholder, Lathrop Gage
Jim and his firm have been long-term supporters of the program and he offered valuable insight and input as the program has grown.
Favorite Leadership Springfield Experience: Meeting and becoming close with my class; first retreat was an amazing experience.
Mike Powers, President/CEO, Arc of the Ozarks
Mike was a long-term chair for the Signature Committee and played an important role in ensuring the class participants had an eye-opening experience that connected them to their class mates and our community.
Favorite Leadership Springfield Experience: Class 14 - Enjoyed the entire experience, retreats and program days.
Luke Westerman, Owner, Computer Recycling Center
Luke is one of handful of graduates that not only participated in the Signature Program, but was also a graduate of the Leadership Academy. Luke served as treasurer and was part of the committee that launched the Impact Springfield pilot program, which focuses on getting our alumni engaged in community projects.
